Growing Degree Days are often used to maximize efficacy of herbicide and plant growth regulator applications. In a similar way, cooling degree days have been used in research to schedule fall applications of post-emergent herbicides for dallisgrass control. In this 90-minute webinar, Matt Elmore, Ph.D., discusses programs to control dallisgrass and bermudagrass in warm- and cool-season turfgrass and how to incorporate cooling degree-day-based application timings into weed control programs. Listen in to learn more about the efficiency of using CDDs.
