About the Instructor
Kevin Sunderman, CGCS, is the golf course superintendent at Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club in St. Petersburg, Fla. and vice president of the GCSAA Board of Directors. He earned a bachelor’s degree in turfgrass science at the Ohio State University and an MBA from Florida Southern College. Sunderman is a 22-year GCSAA member. Achieving his own CGCS status in 2019, Sunderman currently serves as the GCSAA Certification Committee Chair and has played an integral role in the modernization of the CGCS program.
