About the Instructor

Andrew Jorgensen, CGCSAndrew J. Jorgensen, CGCS, is the golf course superintendent at On Top of the World Communities, Inc. in Florida. He earned two associate degrees in environmental horticulture from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Jorgensen has been a GCSAA member for nearly 20 years, serving as a grass roots ambassador as well as holding office on the board of the Florida GCSA, the Florida Turfgrass Association and the Seven Rivers GCSA, among others. His excellence in the turfgrass industry has been well-documented though numerous awards, including an Environmental Leader in Golf from GCSAA in 2014. He has been a past speaker at GIS and has been invited to speak again in 2019 in San Diego.
