Start Date

Duration
90 Minutes

Most pest selection Best Management Practices (BMPs) are related to personal protection equipment and integrated pest management topics. These have little to do with actually selecting and using pesticides. In this 90-minute webinar, J. Bryan Unruh, Ph.D., discusses why pesticide product selection should be made based on a number of important factors including:

Product effectiveness;
Pesticides with minimal impact on non-target species;
Minimization of pest resistance;
Consideration of possible toxicological risk associated with pesticide exposure.

You’ll learn practical information on the evaluation of pesticides and site characteristics affecting off-site movement of chemicals.
