Making jokes on April Fool’s Day is fun but setting up your equipment incorrectly is no laughing matter. Eric Duncanson, equipment manager at Pine Needles & Mid Pines Golf Resorts, will help prevent any miss steps in this 60-minute webinar that concentrates on the basics of equipment set up and maintenance. Our target audience is new equipment technicians and assistant superintendents or anyone responsible for daily set up of mowing equipment and the associated attachments. About the Instructor

Eric DuncansonEric Duncanson, equipment manager at Pine Needles & Mid Pines Golf Resorts in Southern Pines, N.C., was born in Scotland and graduated from The Open University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Duncanson has over 20 years’ experience in the golf course industry as an equipment manager at high end facilities, starting at Loch Lomond Golf Club which hosted four European tour events during his tenure. While at Pine Needles and Mid Pines Golf resorts, Duncanson has helped host the USA Women’s Open in 2001 and again in 2007, as well as the Senior Women’s Open in 2003. Duncanson has been presenting on golf course equipment technology for 15 years, speaking for The Ohio State University International Intern Program, Ohio Turfgrass Foundation, Pennsylvania State University turf club, and The Turf Equipment Technicians Association of the Carolinas both at regional and state conferences. He teaches an annual semester at the local community college to superintendent candidates who are preparing for their associate degree in agronomy.
