The Syngenta Technical Team provided #TurfInsights and agronomic support to golf course superintendents across the country. They discussed a variety of tips ranging from:
- getting the most out of your PGR program,
- fungicide applications to prevent diseases this spring and summer
- season-long control of insects
- tips for difficult-to-control weeds
- insights on nematodes
- digital tools to help you scout for and stay ahead of pests

About the Instructors
Michael L. Agnew, Ph.D., is the Northeastern U.S. Technical manager for Syngenta and a former associate professor and extension turfgrass specialist for Iowa State University. He earned his bachelor's and master's and a doctorate degree in horticulture from Kansas State University.
Lane Tredway, Ph.D., is the Southeastern U.S. Technical Manager for Syngenta and was an associate professor and extension specialist at North Carolina State Tredway earned his bachelor's from Penn State University, a master's from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in plant pathology from the University of Georgia.
Matt Giese is the Midwestern U.S. Technical Manager for Syngenta. He earned both his bachelors and master's degrees from the University of Nebraska.
Dean Mosdell, Ph.D., is the Western U.S. Technical Manager for Syngenta. He earned both his bachelors and master’s degrees from Virginia Tech and his Ph.D. from Purdue University.
