About the Instructors
Lisa Beirn, Ph.D., is a research and development field scientist for Syngenta Professional Solutions. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Cook College, Rutgers University and her master’s and PhD in Plant Biology from Rutgers University.
Matt Giese, M.S., is the Midwestern U.S. Technical Manager for Syngenta and has worked for them for more than 25 years. He earned both his bachelors and master's degrees from the University of Nebraska, the latter in turf and turfgrass management.
