Spring dead spot and take-all root rot are two of the most common root diseases in bermudagrass and certain other warm-season grasses. In this 60-minute webinar, Lane Tredway, Ph.D., and Dean Mosdell, Ph.D., review procedures for diagnosis, factors that encourage disease development, cultural practices that can reduce disease pressure, and proper application of fungicides for best results.

About the Instructors

Mosdell and TredwayLane Tredway, Ph.D., is the Southeastern U.S. Technical Manager for Syngenta and was an associate professor and extension specialist at North Carolina State. Tredway earned his bachelor's from Penn State University, a master's from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in plant pathology from the University of Georgia.

Dean Mosdell, Ph.D., is the Western U.S. Technical Manager for Syngenta. He earned both his bachelors and master’s degrees from Virginia Tech and his Ph.D. from Purdue University.
