Drainage, Air movement, Shade
We’re updating this series of one-hour webinars which examine the agronomic symptoms from each. Our experts provide background on the challenge and offer solutions to help mitigate the issue at your golf course.
This series was Live Captioned as presented.
Bud White, CPAg, discusses air movement and its relationship to disease and healthy turf. He reviews micro-climates, fertilization and using fans as a strategy in specific situations. He details ways to evaluate air movement, measure its adequacy and evaluate how best to improve utilizing natural air flow as the first measure of correction. He also provides useful tips for education to members/owners/management on tree thinning.
