Bud White, CPAg, discusses air movement and its relationship to disease and healthy turf. He reviews micro-climates, fertilization and using fans as a strategy in specific situations. He details ways to evaluate air movement, measure its adequacy and evaluate how best to improve utilizing natural air flow as the first measure of correction. He also provides useful tips for education to members/owners/management on tree thinning.
