About the Instructors

Eric DuncansonEric Duncanson, equipment manager at Pine Needles & Mid Pines Golf Resorts in Southern Pines, N.C., was born in Scotland and graduated from The Open University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Duncanson has over 20 years’ experience in the golf course industry as an equipment manager at high end facilities, starting at Loch Lomond Golf Club, which hosted four European tour events during his tenure. While at Pine Needles and Mid Pines Golf resorts, Duncanson has helped host the USA Women’s Open in 2001 and again in 2007, as well as the Senior Women’s Open in 2003.

Trent ManningBorn in North Georgia, Trent Manning has remained close to home as equipment manager at both Ansley and Settindown Creek Golf Club. Manning earned certificates in small engines, electrical and reel theory from Gwinnett Technical College and more recently completed the GCSAA Equipment Management Certificate Program. He also completed the EETC certificates in Electrical, Hydraulic, Four Stroke Engines and Diesel Engines while working for a Toro Distributor where he was a mobile service technician. Manning has been in the golf equipment industry for over 20 years and is the host of @reelturftechs podcast.
