About the Instructor
Tim Hiers, CGCS, is the Director of Agronomy, White Oak Conservation, Yulee, Fla. Hiers has worked in the turf industry for 44 years, becoming a golf course superintendent on Sept. 13, 1976. He is a graduate of Gateway College in Lake City, Fla. Hiers is a past president of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association, has served on numerous GCSAA committees, and is a past member of Audubon International’s Board of Directors. He has also taught seminars at the GCSAA Education Conference.
